Color | Surface Color. You can select from a single color (mono color) or color curve.

Mapping | Valid only when you use color curve. Select parameter by which the color denends.

Mapping | When mapped globally, the texture pattern does not move even if the object move.

Pattern | When you make texture by pattern, you can use some of texure patterns provided in Pov-Ray. Some patterns. such as checker board, are valid in preview mode.

Scale/Turb | Scaling of Mapping. Non-zero value of turbulence gives randomness to the pattern.

Specular |

Diffusion | Brightness ob object at the side of light source.
|
Ambient | Brightness ob object at the opposite side of the light source.
|
Roughness | This parameter determines the shape of specular highlight.
|
Transmit Type | Determines translucency of the object surface.

Interior
SSS Factor | Setting non-zero value makes subsurface scattering (SSS) on. Larger value makes the object more translucent.

Back Diffuse | If the surface would be lit even if the light comes from the back side, like a thin paper.
|
Fade_Color | The ray which pass through the object in long way becomes to this color. Note that this behavior is approximate one and slightly unphysical.
|
Fade Distance | The scale to apply Fade_Color effect. Smaller value makes the effect more effective. However, 0 makes this effect off.
|
IOR | Index of refraction. Transparent objects, like grass or water has IOR larger than 1.
|
Dispersion | Degree of IOR dependency on wave length. With value other than 1 make prism like effects.
